ALDO Group Extends Bleckmann Logistics Partnership to 2031

Canadian footwear and accessories retailer ALDO Group has extended its supply-chain agreement with Bleckmann by five years, keeping the partnership in place until July 2031.

The relationship began in July 2016 and covers a broad operational scope, including transport, warehousing, customs management and freight. For ALDO, the renewal preserves an integrated logistics model rather than introducing a new provider or separating activities across multiple contractors.

An integrated European logistics operation

Bleckmann is responsible mainly for ALDO’s European logistics and warehouse activities. Its network also supports exports to Morocco, Egypt, Angola, Albania, Turkey, Cyprus and the UK. Poland, Germany, France and Portugal are among the retailer’s important European markets.

The scale of the operation is reflected in the Enschede warehouse, where approximately 3.2 million items are dispatched each year. Daily coordination between the two companies is intended to support rapid decisions across transport, inventory handling, customs and freight flows.

Renewal built around efficiency

Bleckmann says the long-running relationship is focused on continuous improvement and cost reduction. The operating model relies on close interaction between the teams, which can help address changes in demand, export requirements and day-to-day distribution priorities without rebuilding the supply-chain structure.

ALDO’s international distribution leadership described the extension as the next phase of a partnership that has operated through transformation and disruption. The agreement gives both companies a stable framework for continuing the existing service model while refining performance and efficiency.

For industrial and retail supply-chain operators, the decision highlights the value of mature, closely integrated logistics relationships. A contract renewal of this length can provide operational continuity while leaving room to improve processes across warehousing and cross-border distribution.
