Qatar Cargo Adds Freighter Capacity Across Europe and the US

Qatar Airways Cargo is adding dedicated Boeing 777 freighter capacity between Doha, Europe and the United States for the Winter 2026 season. The changes are designed to give manufacturers and other industrial shippers more predictable access to long-haul markets through the carrier’s Doha hub.

New links for Nordic and Polish exporters

From 25 October 2026, a weekly service will connect Copenhagen with Doha through Budapest. The route will provide 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity and target demand from Denmark and southern Sweden. It will operate alongside 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger flights, whose belly holds provide more than 100 tonnes of capacity in each direction every week.

Qatar Airways Cargo will also restart freighter operations to Warsaw on 26 October. The weekly Boeing 777 rotation will run Doha–Warsaw–Chicago–Brussels–Doha, creating a direct air-cargo connection between Poland and the US. Combined with twice-weekly freighter flights to Katowice and 10 weekly wide-body passenger services to Warsaw, the move will take Poland’s total cargo capacity above 435 tonnes each way.

Additional US capacity

A new weekly Boeing 777 freighter to New York’s JFK airport is scheduled for 1 November, operating via Liège and Atlanta. Together with 14 weekly passenger flights, the service will lift available New York capacity above 226 tonnes in each direction.

The carrier has also recently introduced two weekly Boeing 777 freighters to Dallas via Liège. Those flights offer 200 tonnes of main-deck capacity into Dallas and 100 tonnes outbound. When passenger services are included, total weekly capacity rises above 250 tonnes into Dallas and 150 tonnes out.

The expanded network is intended for pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, aerospace components, technology, energy equipment, perishables, vehicles, oversized freight and other time-critical industrial shipments. Customers can connect through Doha to more than 160 destinations. Further information is available from Qatar Airways Cargo.
