Transporeon prepares logistics workflows for AI agents
Trimble-owned Transporeon is extending its logistics platform so AI agents can perform more routine work across the transport lifecycle. The release brings together new and upgraded capabilities for freight procurement, planning, execution, visibility, yard operations and freight settlement.
The products are designed to connect information that is often split between transport systems, email and back-office applications. Trimble Arc Agent, the company’s enterprise AI agent, provides a natural-language interface for retrieving data, updating records and initiating selected actions. Controls remain in place for tasks that require human confirmation, alongside visibility into AI-supported workflows and auditable decisions.
Automation from tendering to execution
Market Insights Spot Rate on Demand extends benchmarking to standard and specialised equipment. Users can also ask an assistant to prepare draft lane briefs and market summaries. NextGen Freight Procurement for Road targets spreadsheet-based full-truckload and less-than-truckload tendering, using AI to create draft RFQs from lane and pricing information. Flexible bid sheets are intended to support more complex LTL structures.
Enhanced Autonomous Procurement combines quote collection with AI-generated offers for a shipper’s established carrier network. A standalone Transport Planner addresses high-volume plans, including milk runs and scenarios with several capacity constraints.
Automation also moves into daily execution. Autonomous Execution can follow up carriers and request missing documents, while users can interact with transport data through natural-language commands. Maritime Intelligence adds risk signals from maritime, port, weather and geopolitical sources to Ocean Visibility, helping identify disruption earlier.
Linking physical operations and settlement
Supplier Collaboration introduces “Living Purchase Orders”, allowing supplier updates to reach transport and yard plans before departure. Advanced Trailer Orchestration is designed to replace manual yard tracking with a live map and prioritised work queues. eDelivery Note digitises delivery records, while Freight Audit SelfService uses execution data to reconcile e-invoices and support AI-assisted discrepancy reviews.
Most announced capabilities are already available, including Transport Planner, Transport Execution, Supplier Collaboration, Freight Audit SelfService, Autonomous Procurement, NextGen Freight Procurement for Road and Market Insights. Maritime Intelligence is available in an initial version, with further port and weather functions planned for the end of 2026. Advanced Trailer Orchestration and eDelivery Note are scheduled for commercial rollout through October.
