Jadlog scales Brazilian parcel network with Fives automation
Jadlog has commissioned an automated parcel hub in São Paulo after an investment of more than R$200 million. The facility is designed to expand capacity as Brazil’s e-commerce market drives higher parcel volumes, with peak processing of up to 16,500 items per hour.
At the centre of the operation is Fives’ GENI-Belt sorter. Six induction lines feed almost 300 destinations, while the system processes parcels and small items on the same sorter. That configuration allows Jadlog to increase throughput without requiring separate equipment streams for different shipment formats.
Automation built around network growth
The 20,000m² site includes 87 loading docks, approximately 2,000m² of mezzanine offices and 5,000m² of support space. The combination of automated routing and high dock capacity is intended to improve flow through the hub and support more predictable national distribution.
Jadlog CEO Bruno Tortorello said volumes had risen tenfold since the company was acquired by Geopost. He described the new headquarters as a way to bring higher intralogistics standards to the carrier’s Brazilian network. That network now comprises more than 500 franchises, 17 branches and over 4,000 pick-up and drop-off locations.
COO Fernando Gasparini characterised the sorter as a strategic investment in automation, capacity and operational predictability. The project was officially inaugurated on 7 May 2026 in the presence of Jadlog, Geopost and Fives representatives.
A regional reference point
For Fives Intralogistics, the installation is described as Geopost’s first in Latin America. It follows an earlier project with DPD Portugal and gives Fives a reference site for further automation opportunities in the region.
The hub also incorporates infrastructure intended to reduce environmental impact, use resources more efficiently and lower emissions. Jadlog operates with more than 2,300 trucks and trailers and 4,700 utility vehicles, making scalable and resource-efficient material flow increasingly important as its network expands.
